MATERIALS/LOGISTIC MANAGER

We are seeking a Materials/Logistics Manager to join our Team in McKinney, Texas.

RESPONISIBILITIES
  • Work closely with Customer Service/Project Management and Accounting for deployment, billing and invoicing activities
  • Review Quotes from Sales, PO’s from Customers, BOM’s in Agile and PO’s for accuracy and consistency
  • Communicate Project Plans to appropriate groups
  • Working with Sales and Manufacturing to develop forecasts that minimize delivery timetables
  • Work with Accounting to accurately track costs related to projects, tasks or activities
  • Interface with Engineering to develop timetables on Prototype products
  • Manage RMA’s back from customers into the production flow for repair/return with minimal impact to production activities.

  • Responsible for Global Logistics and delivery of Xtera products including creation of all paperwork and arrangement of shipments (Commercial Invoices, Proforma Invoices, Certificates of Origin, Letter of Intent, Carnets, AES filing, etc.).
  • Tracking shipments daily and providing updates to related parties/groups.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent organization, communication, follow-through, and execution skills.
  • Self-starter with confidence to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to take the initiative and solve problems in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work in an unstructured environment.
  • PC skills. Key emphasis on the ability to have high-level competence with Excel and data entry.
  • Provide management reports on a daily basis  
  • Ability to prioritize work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage global time zones
  • Experience in Global Logistics including import/export
  • Regular schedule is 9 am to 5pm. Candidates must be flexible and be available outside regular business hours for this role.
