We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our team and create exceptional technical documentation for our complex telecom products. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude, excellent writing skills, and a keen ability to translate intricate information into clear and concise content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, troubleshooting guides, and Method of Procedures.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and subject matter experts to gather and understand product specifications and features.
Create and maintain detailed information architecture and content organization for optimal user experience.
Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides, branding guidelines, and industry standards.
Utilize authoring tools and content management systems to efficiently create and manage documentation.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation effectiveness.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and documentation best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in the telecom or technology industry.
Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate complex information into clear and understandable language.
Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g. Adobe FrameMaker or similar and Microsoft Office tools) and content management systems.
Experience with HTML and/or XML-based authoring is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
