About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the Xtera System Engineering team. You will be part of a team building Subsea equipment (Repeaters) that will be installed on undersea transmission systems which are the backbone of today’s connected world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
To manage or perform the following aspects of submarine system engineering:
- Perform splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of fibre optic Joints
- Install, commission & test various components for the build process of Repeaters
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work packages
- Interpret and follow detailed specifications and plans
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Document work performed, including test results and materials used
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Time served in a telecoms role or relevant experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to interact with subcontractors and partners
- Good communication skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with the willingness to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Junior engineers or recent graduate are invited to apply and would be trained on the job
